Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day activities related to substation construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors and project management teams.
Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed as per approved schedule.
Follow up on electrical equipment installation, cabling, earthing, testing and commissioning activities.
Coordinate for installation and testing of equipment such as Power Transformers, CT, PT/CVT, Circuit Breakers, Isolators, LA, Panels and other substation equipment.
Coordinate with engineering teams for drawings, technical queries, revisions and approvals.
Review and maintain project documentation, inspection reports, test reports, MOMs and daily/weekly progress reports.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for material delivery, site activities and pending work.




Monitor site requirements and highlight delays, technical issues and material shortages to management.
Coordinate with clients/consultants for inspections, approvals and site-related requirements.
Support pre-commissioning, testing, energization and handover activities.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements and safety procedures.
Prepare and maintain MIS, progress reports and activity trackers.
Participate in site meetings and prepare/maintain Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
Coordinate shutdown, testing and commissioning activities wherever required.
Ensure proper documentation and final handover of substation-related project documents.
Perform other project coordination activities as assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in Substation / Solar / Renewable Energy / Transmission & Distr
