Job Description:

Position: Quality Manager

Location: Umbergaon near by Vapi

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Industries: Steel

Responsibilities:
Manage overall QA/QC activities for steel manufacturing and ensure product quality.
Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, SOPs, and inspection plans.
Monitor raw materials, in-process production, and finished steel products.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable IS/ASTM/EN standards.
Lead quality inspections, testing, and laboratory activities.
Analyze quality issues, customer complaints, and implement CAPA.
Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, and quality deviations.
Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation for audits.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, R&D;, and other departments for quality improvement.
Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.




Train and guide QC inspectors and laboratory personnel.
Drive continuous improvement and quality-management initiatives.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and quality control.
Knowledge of metallurgy, material testing, and inspection methods.
Positive understanding of ISO 9001, 5S, CAPA, RCA, and quality tools.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 8.40 LPA
