Responsibilities
Cash Accounting responsibilities include analyzing, reconciling and researching bank accounts and credit card transactions
Ensure a complete and accurate month-end close process within established deadlines of the company
Prepare periodic balance sheet account reconciliations including cash accounts, credit card accounts, payroll, and lodging accounts in accordance with company standards
Research and resolve issues related to account reconciliations and outstanding issues by contacting the appropriate individuals to gather information, escalating matters appropriately, and proposing and implementing solutions
Highlight and explain non-routine cash transactions and significant variances to Finance department management
Understand the flow of information through the banking, payroll, and general ledger systems
Understand and communicate non-routine cash transactions and significant variances to stakeholders
