HIRING: Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, high-ownership Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts to manage end-to-end accounting, plant costing, statutory compliance, and corporate reporting for our manufacturing unit in Chennai. Working directly with the Finance HOD, you will serve as the operational core of our finance department, handling everything from day-to-day transactions to audit management and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting, AP/AR & MIS
Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for domestic and import/export transactions.
Perform periodic vendor and customer reconciliations and obtain balance confirmations.
Assist the Finance HOD in preparing monthly MIS reports, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash/Fund Flow statements, monthly accruals, and Budget vs. Actual analyses.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), calculate depreciation, tag assets via ERP system codes, and conduct periodic physical verifications.

2. Banking & Treasury




Oversee day-to-day banking operations, corporate bank account maintenance, and trade finance (Letters of Credit (LC), import/export payments).
Working knowledge of the dividend payment process is preferred.

3. Statutory Compliance
Manage monthly calculation, payment, and return filings for TDS/TCS and GST, including vendor GST reconciliations.
Assist the Finance HOD in calculating advance tax payments, issuing employee and vendor tax certificates, and supporting Corporate Income Tax return filings and responses to Income Tax notices.
Assist the Finance HOD and coordinate with the Company Secretary (CS) on ROC/Board/AGM compliances, annual regulatory filings, and secretarial updates.
Coordinate with the insurance broking company to track and update company insurance policies (Marine, Employee Medical, Burglary, and Property Risk).

4. Audits & Corporate Governance
