About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer to design, build and own the CI/CD, automation and platform infrastructure behind a large-scale enterprise platform delivered for a global automotive client.
The Sr. DevOps Engineer will work as part of a distributed onsite/offshore team, partnering daily with US-based technical leads, developers and QA to make releases fast, repeatable and low-risk — owning pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, containerized deployments and observability end to end.
What You Will Do
Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines end to end, owning build, test, packaging, promotion and deployment across all environments.
Automate everything that is currently manual — releases, workplace provisioning, configuration, routine operational tasks — using scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy) and pipeline-as-code.
Define and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or Ansible, applying version control,
peer review and repeatable environment builds.
Build, deploy and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes, including Helm charts, rollout and rollback strategy, resource tuning and cluster troubleshooting.
Administer, harden and tune Linux environments, and manage networking, storage and access at the platform level.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and dashboards (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog or Splunk) so problems are detected and diagnosed before users report them.
Troubleshoot, root-cause and resolve build failures, deployment failures and production incidents, driving permanent fixes rather than workarounds.
Manage secrets, credentials and environment configuration securely (Vault or equivalent), and embed security and quality scanning into the pipeline.
Document pipelines, infrastructure decisions and runbooks so knowledge is transferable across the onsite and offshore team.
