Role Description The Chemical Plant Designer at Refnic is a full-time, in office role based in Noida. This role is responsible for designing process layouts and plant configurations for battery recycling, e-waste processing, rare earth recovery, and metallurgical refining facilities. Day-to-day tasks include developing PFDs and P&IDs;, specifying equipment, calculating material and energy balances, and collaborating with process engineers, mechanical designers, and project managers. The Chemical Plant Designer will prepare detailed engineering drawings, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and support scale-up from pilot to commercial plants. The role also involves coordinating with vendors, supporting installation and commissioning, and optimizing designs for efficiency, maintainability, and sustainability.
