Draftsman – SEW-EURODRIVE (3 Years Experience)

Experience: 3+ Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering

Location: Typically Vadodara, Gujarat or other SEW locations

Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Create detailed manufacturing, assembly, and layout drawings.
Develop equipment and plant layouts based on project requirements.
Modify and update existing drawings as per engineering changes.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
Coordinate with design, production, quality, and project teams.
Conduct site visits for measurements and layout studies when required.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and customer specifications.
Maintain drawing revisions and document control procedures.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
Valuable working knowledge of SolidWorks (mandatory).
Knowledge of CATIA/ANSYS is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing specifications.




Knowledge of gear motors, mechanical assemblies, fabrication, and industrial automation concepts.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Preferred Experience
Equipment design, machine layout design, or industrial automation projects.
Preparation of assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings.
Working with ERP/PDM systems and BOM management.
Experience in engineering industries related to motors, gearboxes, conveyors, or automation.
