We're building secure, scalable infrastructure for digital wallets, payments, crypto on/off-ramps, and financial transactions from the ground up.

The Role
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Backend) to take technical ownership of critical parts of our wallet, transaction, payment, and crypto infrastructure.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You'll drive architecture and system design while continuing to write production code, solve complex distributed-systems problems, and mentor engineers.

What You'll Do
Design and build scalable backend services using Java & Spring Boot
Own architecture for wallet, ledger, transaction, payment, and crypto systems
Build systems handling financial and blockchain transactions
Integrate with blockchain networks, custody providers, crypto APIs, and payment providers
Design reliable systems around idempotency, concurrency, consistency, and fault tolerance




Build REST APIs and event-driven services
Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD
Lead system design and architectural decisions
Review code, mentor engineers, and raise engineering standards
Troubleshoot complex production and scalability issues
Work closely with Product, QA, Security, and DevOps

What We're Looking For
8+ years of software engineering experience
Strong production experience with Java & Spring Boot
Mandatory professional experience in blockchain / cryptocurrency / crypto-fintech
Hands-on experience with crypto wallets, blockchain transactions, custody, exchanges, payments, or on/off-ramps
Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and transaction lifecycle
Experience with microservices and distributed systems
Strong PostgreSQL experience; exposure to MongoDB/NoSQL
Experience with AWS and production systems
Solid understanding of system design, scalability, concurrency, idempotency, and transa
