As a Product Certification Engineer, you will support regulatory compliance and product certification activities for products being launched or imported into India. You will work closely with engineering, quality, regulatory teams, and third-party testing/certification agencies to ensure timely approvals from Indian regulatory bodies and compliance with applicable regulations.



You will also support Current Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure products meet certification and market access requirements. You will report to the Hiring Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Bengaluru, India.
Your Responsibilities:
Identify mandatory certification requirements under Indian regulations, including BIS CRS, ISI, WPC ETA, TEC MTCTE, BEE, and other applicable schemes.
Conduct regulatory impact assessments for new products and product revisions.
Develop certification roadmaps, timelines, and compliance plans to support product launches.
Prepare, compile, and review certification documentation, including test reports, technical construction files (TCF), product drawings, BOMs, user manuals, datasheets, and RF/EMC reports.
Coordinate product testing with accredited laboratories in India and overseas and review test reports for accuracy and completeness.
