Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development role based in Chennai.



The Business Development professional will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, and build long-term relationships with clients in key sectors such as engineering, automobile, wind energy, construction, and other related industries. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, understanding client requirements, preparing proposals, and collaborating with operations and documentation teams to ensure service offerings align with customer needs. The role also involves maintaining regular communication with existing clients, providing high-quality customer service, and supporting strategic initiatives to expand EXCEL MARITIME’s presence across domestic and international markets. The individual will be expected to meet sales targets, contribute to revenue growth, and represent the brand at industry events and client meetings.
