As we scale our platform and expand our visual, spatial, and data integrations, we are looking for a highly capable Software Development Engineer II (SDE 2) to join our core product engineering team.
Role Overview
As an SDE II at Saltmine, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining robust,



high-performance web applications that power our real-time spatial planning, visualization, and collaboration modules. You will work across the stack, writing clean, modular backend services in Node.js (Express & Nest.js) and building rich, responsive user interfaces in React.js.
This is an opportunity to solve unique engineering challenges around big spatial datasets, interactive floor plan canvas elements, system performance, and cooperative workflow architectures.
Experience Level: 4–6 Years

Location: Remote / Hybrid (as per location)
Target Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates from Product-based companies, specifically in the B2B SaaS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Feature Delivery: Design, implement, test, and deploy end-to-end features using NestJS/Express on the backend and React on the frontend.
Architecture & Scalability: Write clean, self-documenting
