Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual Test Engineer / QA Lead. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in test planning, execution, defect management, and quality assurance across complex engineering applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing.
Validate software applications used in semiconductor engineering environments.
Identify, track, and manage defects through closure using defect management tools.
Collaborate closely with development, product management, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
Prepare test reports, status updates, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
Mentor junior QA engineers and drive testing best practices.
Support release validation and production readiness activities.
Required Skills
7-10 years of experience in Manual Testing and Quality Assurance.
Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
Experience in Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar test management/defect tracking tools.
Strong experience in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and requirement traceability.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
