Role & responsibilities :
Hands-on expertise in Fortinet, Check Point, and Sophos firewalls (deployment, policy management, upgrades).
Monitor and troubleshoot network and security performance, incidents, and outages.
Lead network and security implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
Configure VPNs, SDWAN, routing, and advanced security features (IPS, AV, Web Filtering).
Perform layer-wise network audits and security assessments .
Collaborate with ISPs, OEMs, and third-party vendors for issue resolution.
Engage with customers for recent business initiatives and security solution design.
Maintain network and security documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
Provide value-added recommendations based on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Preferred candidate profile
Robust experience with addressing, sub-netting, routing, switching, VLANs,



VTP, STP, NAT, VPN, 802.1x, VRRP, HSRP etc.
Hands-on experience implementing, administrating and troubleshooting network devices: Cisco ASA, Cisco/HP network switches, Cisco/HP routers
Strong knowledge of firewall policies, NAT rules, IP SLA, IPSec VPN, IDP & IPS, RADIUS, and TACACS.
Solid knowledge of IP routing protocols OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, QoS, GRE, NetFlow WAN technologies.
A valuable level of experience implementing and administering common TCP/IP based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
Experience with standard network and security change and configuration control policies.
CCNA(R&S;) or CCNA Security certified
