The job
The Senior Member of Technical Staff will be a hands-on software engineer responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions for AVEVA CONNECT. The role requires strong expertise in C#, .NET, Angular, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, and modern software engineering practices. Working closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, Scrum teams, and cross-functional R&D; teams, the successful candidate will contribute to technical design and delivery, mentor engineers, support design and code reviews, resolve customer issues, and drive continuous improvements in engineering quality, security, and development practices.
Key responsibilities
Work closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and Scrum Team to understand, define, design,



and implement software solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and estimation, backlog refinement, daily Scrum meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with Customer Support to troubleshoot customer-reported issues, identify root causes, and drive them to timely resolution.
Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code that is fully reviewed, unit tested, documented, and delivered in accordance with agreed quality standards.
Analyze, design, implement, and validate security requirements in alignment with industry-standard cybersecurity practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, development processes, and overall product quality.
Essential requirements
8+ years of software engineering experience.
Solid hands-on expertise in C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, and enterprise cloud-based application development.
