Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Product Design • Own end-to-end architecture for high-throughput, low-latency services and user-facing apps; define APIs, data models, caching, partitioning/sharding, and event flows. • Translate product requirements into architectural roadmaps and component designs (domain-driven design, microservices, API-first). • Drive “secure-by-default” patterns (Zero-Trust, principle of least privilege) and privacy-first data design. Full-Stack Engineering (Java-First) • Build backend services in Java/Spring Boot; design REST/gRPC APIs, asynchronous pipelines, and distributed workflows. • Contribute to front-end (React/Next or similar) and shared libraries; ensure cohesive UX with robust performance budgets and accessibility. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevEx improvements (build speed, quality gates, developer tooling).



High-Frequency Transaction Systems • Design for throughput, concurrency, and fault-tolerance (bulkheads, circuit breakers, idempotency, retry/backoff, message ordering). • Performance tune JVM, thread pools, GC, connection pools; establish SLOs and p95/p99 latency targets. • Introduce event streaming, queues, and exactly-once/at-least-once semantics where applicable. 4. 5. 6. Security & Compliance • Champion IAM/CIAM/IGA patterns (OAuth2/OIDC, SAML), secrets management, KMS, and robust RBAC/ABAC. • Partner with Security to embed threat modelling, secure coding, and automated security testing in the SDLC. Reliability & Observability • Define SLO/SLI/SLA, golden signals, and error budgets; implement tracing/metrics/logging dashboards (ELK/Grafana/OpenTelemetry). • Lead incident reviews, root-cause analysis, and resilience tests (chaos, failover, DR).
