JOB DESCRIPTION
Must Have Skills:
- Experience with IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
- Experience with Microfocus in architecting & delivering end-to-end solutions in Microfocus.
- Experience in migration of Legacy application in highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise platform on AWS Cloud
- Deep understanding of fundamentals and services of AWS Cloud like VPC, EC2, S3, Auto scaling, RDS, CloudFormation and CloudWatch
- Experience with assessment of mainframe applications and databases to formulate plans for migrating it to cloud
- Well versed with different tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads
- Positive understanding of Linux platform
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
Good To Have Skills:
- Experience in automation and provisioning of AWS cloud environments using API’s, CLI and scripts
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Responsibilities or Expectations from the Role:
- Assess mainframe enterprise application for migration
- Architect, design, lead and perform migration of mainframe enterprise application to AWS with Microfocus as a rehost platform.
- Design, develop and implement cloud infrastructure based on AWS cloud services
