nKey Responsibilities

- Support, enhance, and maintain SMART-based retail applicationsn
- Analyze application stack, business workflows, and technical dependenciesn
- Identify input/output sources, APIs/services, batch jobs, logs, and tablesn
- Work on reverse engineering, documentation, and legacy system understandingn
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide incident / cutover supportn
- Support data extraction, monitoring, and operational validation activitiesn
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand application behavior and modernization requirementsn

nMust-Have Skills

- n
- Strong hands-on experience in SMART or similar retail legacy systemsn
- Strong expertise in Informix 4GL, Informix SQL, and ESQLn
- Good experience with Unix/Linuxn
- Solid scripting experience in Shell and/or Perln




- Experience in production support, batch jobs, incident analysis, logs, and data tracingn
- Strong understanding of retail store operations / POS / inventory / replenishment workflowsn
- Ability to understand and explain legacy application architecture and data flown

nGood to Have

- Experience with Concord, IMS, Resource Manager, Splunk, Teradata, ServiceNown
- Exposure to legacy decommissioning / migration / modernizationn
- Experience supporting store back-end applicationsn
- Ability to create technical documentation and support reverse engineering initiativesn
