Summarized Purpose
Join ThermoFisher Scientific as a Senior Systems Developer and help build the software platforms that support scientific workflows and customer outcomes. You will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Java applications and services used across enterprise and laboratory-facing environments. Working with product, QA, platform, and business partners,



you will turn complex requirements into reliable cloud-ready solutions that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
This role is suited to a hands-on senior Java engineer with strong Spring Boot and microservices experience. You will contribute across the delivery lifecycle-from technical design and API development through automated testing, deployment, production support, and mentoring teammates.
Education / Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Minimum of 7-9 years of professional software or systems-development experience, with substantial hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications in an Agile, cross-functional setting.
