Job Title: Field Application Engineer (Ahmadabad, India)
nLocation: Ahmadabad, Gujarat (In office, travel required)
nRole Overview:
nSeeking a hands-on Field Application Engineer to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and commissioning for industrial automation systems. Immediate proficiency in VFD, PLC, HMI, and SERVO is mandatory.
nKey Responsibilities:
nProvide on-site start-up, debugging, and maintenance for VFD, PLC, HMI, and SERVO drives.
nDiagnose and resolve hardware/software issues at customer sites.
nConduct technical training for end-users and partners.
nCollaborate with sales team to offer pre-sales and post-sales technical solutions.
nPrepare service reports and document field issues.
nRequirements:




nDiploma/BE in E&E;, E&C;, or Instrumentation.
n2–5 years of actual hands-on field support experience in VFD, PLC (ladder/logic), HMI programming, and SERVO tuning.
nAbility to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot I/O, communication protocols (Modbus, etc.).
nWillingness to travel within Ahmadabad and surrounding industrial zones.
nStrong English communication and on-site problem-solving skills.
nPreferred (nice to have):
nExperience with brands like Siemens, Delta, ABB, Yaskawa, or Mitsubishi.
