About the RoleAB Connectz is looking for a capable and solution-oriented Backend Developer with 2–5 years of skilled experience to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in developing backend applications, REST APIs, database-driven systems, third-party integrations, authentication systems and production-ready server-side applications.
You will work closely with frontend developers, product teams and other engineers to design, develop and maintain reliable, secure and scalable software solutions.
We are looking for a developer who understands backend engineering beyond simply creating APIs — someone who can think logically about application architecture, database design, performance, security, maintainability and production reliability .
Key Responsibilities
- Design,



develop and maintain scalable backend applications, services and RESTful APIs.
- Build server-side applications using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS and/or Express.js .
- Design and maintain efficient relational database structures using PostgreSQL and/or MySQL .
- Write optimized database queries and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms including JWT, role-based access control and permission-based access .
- Implement proper API validation, error handling, logging and security practices.
