Computer Operator – Mainframe

We are currently seeking an experienced professional with a mainframe background to join the BETA Computer Operations department as a Computer Operator.

The Operations department supports the BETA core business and is staffed 24x7x365. Working with the 3rd shift Operations team,



the ideal candidate will help manage the department’s daily workload while developing in the role of meeting our clients’ evolving needs.

Position Summary

The open position will be based in Bangalore and will cover 3rd shift hours (US time) - 0030 ET to 0930 ET.

The Bangalore staff works a rotating schedule that changes on a monthly basis.

Weekend shifts are required, as is the ability to work holidays (US and India) and also overtime when needed.

Along with the rest of the 3rd shift Operations team members in both the US and Bangalore, the candidate would be responsible for a large variety of tasks on a daily basis including (but not limited to) the following:

* · Successful batch processing.
* · Ensuring all SLAs are met.
* · Documenting, managing, and resolving issues.
* · Clear and timely escalation to support teams when needed.
* · Transparent and timely communication with internal and external clients.
