Role overview

Owns the funnel, the supply base and the team for the volume lane: general managers, front office managers/executive/associates, cafe managers/asst. managers, multi-skilled technicians, security guards, etc.. The manager builds and holds the pipeline the team close from and is judged on whether people report on the day rather than on offers released.

Responsibilities

Build quarterly and monthly hiring plans,



forecast with operations hostel by hostel, plan pre-opening against timelines, build a healthy funnel/pool of candidates, at all time
Keep the team supplied with screened-ready candidates on every open role, and with enough overage to survive the drop-off
Decide when a role opens and when it closes and manage the finite portal slots against live demand rather than leaving postings running
Work the supply relationships continuously: contractors, NGO partners, skilling partners, culinary and ITI institutes, local vendors and field drives in tier 2 and 3 markets
Track performance by source and by cost, negotiate on conversion to joiner rather than profiles shared, track ninety-day retention by partner and optimise the referral programme
Allocate roles by volume, urgency and location difficulty, set weekly and monthly targets, and act as the escalation point for any requisition at risk of missing a
