ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment while ensuring protected and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify the root cause of equipment failures.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform cable laying, termination, glanding, and connection activities.
• Install and maintain electrical panels, motors, switches, lighting systems, and control equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.




• Use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site safety regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to complete assigned work.

Qualification:
• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:
• 2–15 years of experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Experience in industrial, construction, plant, offshore, or maintenance projects is preferred.
