Your future team
You will lead an engineering team within Atlassian’s Jira Service Management (JSM) - IT Operations organization—one of our fastest-growing cloud portfolios and a recognized leader in the modern ITSM/ITOM market.
Our team is on a mission to transform how engineering and IT teams detect, respond to, resolve, and prevent incidents at enterprise scale. We build and run mission-critical, high-throughput, and highly reliable services (powering alerting, on-call scheduling, incident orchestration, and mobile experiences) that thousands of global organizations depend on 24/7.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will
Be responsible for high-quality software delivery, grow individuals and groom leaders on the team and contribute to architecture
Partner closely with Product and Design to define roadmaps, shape customer‑centric solutions, and measure impact
Identify blockers, goals, success metrics ensuring awareness, OKR/roadmap awareness, and expectations
Guide technical and architectural decisions, balancing speed, reliability, and long‑term maintainability
Provide explicit direction, coaching, and feedback, and build an inclusive, high‑performing team culture
