We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst with strong hands-on experience in the Australian mortgage process to join our growing team.

Role Overview

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for assessing and analysing Australian residential mortgage applications, evaluating borrowers’ financial positions, identifying credit risks and ensuring applications meet lender policies and responsible lending requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of the end-to-end Australian home loan process, credit assessment, serviceability and lender policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Assess and analyse Australian residential mortgage applications.
* Review borrower income, expenses, assets, liabilities and overall financial position.




* Analyse payslips, bank statements, tax returns and other supporting documentation.
* Conduct serviceability and borrowing-capacity assessments as per lender guidelines.
* Review credit reports and assess overall creditworthiness.
* Identify discrepancies, risks and missing information within loan applications.
* Assess PAYG, self-employed, investor and complex borrower profiles.
* Ensure applications meet Australian lender policies, credit criteria and documentation requirements.
* Work closely with Mortgage Brokers to obtain additional information and supporting documents.
* Liaise with banks, lenders, brokers and other stakeholders throughout the loan process.
* Prepare accurate credit assessments and recommendations.
* Manage multiple applications while maintaining quality and turnaround-time standards.
* Ensure all applications are processed accurately and in accordance with compliance requirements.
