Role: Japanese Language Expert – AI Trainer (Remote | Contract-Based)

About the Role
We are looking for detail-oriented Language Experts – AI Trainers to evaluate and
improve AI-generated responses across text, conversational, and image-based tasks.
You will review prompts, images, and AI responses to assess accuracy, relevance,
clarity, safety, localisation, and instruction following. You will compare responses, rank
them, verify factual claims, and provide concise written reasoning for your decisions.

Key Responsibilities
● Evaluate AI-generated text and image-based responses.
● Assess language quality, accuracy, relevance, and context.
● Compare and rank multiple AI responses using defined guidelines.
● Verify factual and visual claims through approved sources.
● Identify errors, ambiguities, and tasks that cannot be reliably assessed.
● Provide clear, concise justifications for evaluations.




● Apply evaluation guidelines consistently.

Requirements
● Excellent English and strong reading comprehension.
● Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
● Positive research and fact-checking skills.
● Ability to make sound judgments in ambiguous situations.
● Strong written communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
● Experience in AI evaluation, annotation, writing, editing, translation, localisation,
or research is a plus but not required.
