Hiring: Data Extraction Engineer | Python | Web Scraping | Data Engineering
We're looking for strong Data Extraction Engineers with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in website data extraction, web scraping, parsing, and Python-based data engineering.
The role involves building and maintaining Web Robots / Web Spiders that crawl websites and extract data from HTML, plain text, PDFs, Excel, and other structured/unstructured formats.
What you'll work on:
Reverse-engineering websites, their technology, and data retrieval mechanisms Building custom web robots and scraping/parsing systems from scratch Extracting and transforming raw web data into structured datasets Working with HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and Java Script Handling changes in website layouts and dynamics to ensure reliable extraction Building monitoring systems for data integrity, quality and availability Supporting high-availability data extraction with minimal data loss Storing extracted data in appropriate databases Building scalable,

What we're looking for:
1–3 years of relevant website data extraction/web scraping experience Strong Python programming skills Strong SQL and relational database knowledge Hands-on ETL experience Solid understanding of HTTP requests/responses and web technologies Experience using Chrome debugging tools to reverse-engineer website behaviour Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills Good foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms BCA/MCA/BS/MS or equivalent academic background with strong practical application of technical concepts Locations: Hyderabad | Bengaluru | Gurugram
