Job Description
Hiring: Senior Java Engineer (Kafka / Streaming Focus) Location: Bangalore Experience: 4+ Years Work Mode: Hybrid Scope of Work - Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. - Build secure microservices with JWT authentication, validation, and error handling. - Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, and aggregation pipelines. - Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS EC2 and IAM. - Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins. - Design and implement real-time streaming solutions using Apache Kafka. - Manage Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, and offsets. - Configure and maintain Kafka Connect integrations. - Build CDC pipelines using Debezium for MySQL/Aurora data capture. - Manage Schema Registry and schema evolution using Avro/JSON. - Develop stream-processing applications using Kafka Streams or Flink. - Monitor Kafka environments, including DLQs, consumer lag, and performance.
- Support Kafka deployments on Confluent Platform or AWS MSK. Mandatory Requirements - 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development. - Solid knowledge of JWT authentication, validation, and exception handling. - Hands-on experience with MongoDB schema design, indexing, and aggregations. - Experience with AWS EC2 and IAM. - Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins. - Strong understanding of DSA, including arrays, trees, graphs, hashing, and complexity. - Expertise in Apache Kafka, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, and offsets. - Experience with Kafka Connect source and sink connectors. - Knowledge of Debezium CDC, binlog capture, and GTID handling. - Familiarity with Schema Registry, Avro, and JSON schema evolution. - Experience with Kafka Streams or Apache Flink. - Knowledge of DLQ handling, lag monitoring, and Kafka tuning. - Exp
