Role Overview:
The EPS Engineer will be responsible for the design, integration, and validation of electrical and power distribution systems across advanced unmanned platforms and collaborative combat aerial vehicles. The role requires strong technical depth in power systems engineering coupled with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation of high-performance aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of aircraft electrical power systems from power generation to storage and distribution. The candidate will work with engine alternators, lithium chemistry batteries and associated power distribution.
Generate electrical architecture relevant to aircraft / UAV and evaluate multiple architectures.
Harness selection and routing.
Derive technical requirements for EPS, generate BOM and manage EPS configuration of aircraft / UAV.
Integrate EPS subsystems with propulsion, avionics, sensors, and payload systems while maintaining compliance with system design constraints.
Conduct analyses such as load flow, fault analysis, thermal management, and energy optimization for aerospace applications.
Develop test plans, perform simulations and validation testing of EPS components and subsystems.
Develop Acceptance Test Procedures and Reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including avionics, propulsion, structures, and systems engineering for seamless system-level integration.
Support certification, qualification, and reliability processes aligned with aerospace standards.
Provide troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of EPS during development, integration, and flight trials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline.
