Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Import Documentation Executive to manage and coordinate all import-related documentation and processes. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, smooth coordination with suppliers, CHA, shipping lines, freight forwarders and other stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with applicable import regulations.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle end-to-end import documentation for imported scrap tyres and other materials.
· Review and verify import documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance Documents,



Bill of Entry and other relevant documents.
· Coordinate with overseas suppliers for timely receipt and correction of shipping documents.
· Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines and transporters for smooth customs clearance and cargo movement.
· Track shipment status and ensure timely arrival and clearance of consignments.
· Prepare and maintain proper records of all import shipments and related documents.
· Assist in preparing documentation for customs clearance and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate with internal departments such as Accounts, Operations and Management regarding import shipments and payments.
· Monitor container movement, demurrage and detention to avoid unnecessary costs.
· Maintain accurate MIS and shipment tracking reports.
· Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and submitted within required timelines.
