Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Assistant Manager-Purchase. To manage the end-to-end procurement of materials, components, and services required for engineering and manufacturing operations, ensuring timely availability, competitive pricing, quality, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and domestic and global purchase activities based on material requirements, production schedules, and project priorities.
Source and evaluate suppliers for engineering components, raw materials, electrical items, and other procurement requirements.
Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with approved requirements and company policies.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Finance,



and other departments to ensure timely material availability.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, quality issues, and pending purchase orders.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships and identify alternative sources to reduce procurement risks.
Support cost-reduction initiatives through price negotiation, supplier development, and value analysis.
Ensure procurement documentation, approvals, and records are maintained accurately.
Assist in resolving material shortages, purchase-related discrepancies, and supplier payment or invoice issues.
Prepare procurement reports, including purchase status, pending orders, savings, and supplier performance.
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
