As a Tech Lead for Thermal & High-Power Systems, you will provide hands-on technical leadership to a multidisciplinary simulation team solving complex thermal challenges across data center, high-power connectivity, liquid cooling, automotive, and industrial applications.

You will combine deep expertise in thermal engineering and CFD with the ability to guide engineers, establish simulation standards, review complex models, and coordinate critical technical programs. You will play an key role in advancing Virtual Product Qualification by enabling simulation-led product development, reducing dependence on physical prototypes, and improving the speed and confidence of engineering decisions.

The Global Engineering Services Multiphysics Simulation Group supports Molex businesses worldwide through predictive engineering, simulation, and Virtual Product Qualification. The team works across thermal and CFD, structural mechanics, signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility, and multiphysics domains, with a strong focus on data center and high-power applications.





What You Will Do

Provide technical leadership for complex thermal and CFD simulation programs involving liquid-cooled cold plates, manifolds, microchannels, heat exchangers, air cooling, immersion cooling, and high-power connector systems.
Lead the technical execution of thermal simulation programs for data center product lines such as OSFP, QSFP, co-packaged optics, power connectors, and backplane systems.
Review simulation methodologies, assumptions, boundary conditions, mesh strategies, material properties, convergence criteria, and results to ensure physics fidelity and engineering credibility.
Guide engineers in conjugate heat transfer, thermal resistance modeling, pressure-drop analysis, flow-distribution optimization, junction-temperature prediction, and thermal interface material characterization.
