Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Windchill Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in PTC Windchill PLM development and customization. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting Windchill applications based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize PTC Windchill applications according to functional and technical requirements.
- Work on Windchill customization using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, XML, and REST APIs .
- Develop and customize Windchill objects, workflows, lifecycle templates, business rules, and UI components.
- Work with Windchill PDMLink modules such as Parts, Documents, CAD Documents, Change Management, and Product/Library Management.
- Develop and maintain Windchill workflows and lifecycle configurations.
- Customize Windchill using Java APIs, Windchill APIs, and OOTB configuration/customization techniques .
- Develop integrations between Windchill and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs .
- Analyze technical requirements and prepare technical design documents.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Participate in production support and resolve application issues.




- Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and other development teams.
- Follow coding standards, version control, and software development best practices.

Required Technical Skills

- 3+ years of experience in PTC Windchill development/customization
- Strong knowledge of Windchill PDMLink
- Good hands-on experience with Java/J2EE
- Knowledge of Windchill APIs and customization
- Experience with Workflow and Lifecycle customization
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services
- Experience with Windchill UI customization
- Positive understanding of XML, JSP, JavaScript, and SQL
- Knowledge of Oracle or PostgreSQL database concepts
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting Windchill applications
- Familiarity with Git/SVN and build/deployment processes
