Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Develop and maintain embedded software/firmware for automotive and EV applications.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr or equivalent.
- Robust knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD, I2C, SPI, Iso-SPI, UART and RS485.
- Experience in BMS firmware development and battery monitoring applications.
- Develop and implement battery algorithms for SOC, SOH, SOP, cell balancing, fault detection and protection.
- Experience with Lithium-ion/LFP battery cells.
- Experience with ECM (Equivalent Circuit Models) for battery characterization and state estimation.
- Good understanding of STM32/NXP microcontrollers, peripherals, interrupts, DMA and memory management.
- Experience in low-level device drivers and HAL development.
- Hands-on experience with ADC, sensors, EEPROM, Flash memory and battery monitoring ICs.
- Strong debugging skills using oscilloscope,



logic analyzer, protocol analyzer and debuggers.
- Familiarity with Git, unit testing, integration testing, SIL/HIL and automated testing.
- Knowledge of MISRA-C, secure coding and software architecture.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Design.

Good to Have:

- Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and ASPICE.
- Exposure to AUTOSAR.
- Understanding of HARA, FSC, TSC, FMEA, DFMEA, FMEDA and Fault Tree Analysis.
- Knowledge of UDS, OBD and CAN-FD diagnostics.
- Experience in developing safety-related software documentation and traceability.

Education: B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
