Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP CAPM/BAS Developer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate should possess solid hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP S/4HANA integrations.

The candidate will be responsible for building side-by-side extensions, APIs, event-driven applications, workflow integrations, and modern SAP cloud solutions using SAP's latest development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

SAP CAPM Development

- Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Java & Fiori).
- Create CDS data models, services, handlers, and business logic.
- Develop OData V4 services and REST APIs.
- Build reusable cloud-native microservices.
- Implement authorization and authentication using XSUAA.
- Develop multitenant and scalable applications on SAP BTP.

SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)

- Develop applications using SAP BAS.
- Configure development spaces and project structures.
- Manage deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
- Integrate Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize build and deployment processes.

SAP BTP Development





- Work with SAP BTP services including:
- SAP HANA Cloud
- Destination Service
- XSUAA
- Object Store
- Job Scheduler
- Event Mesh
- SAP Build Process Automation
- SAP Work Zone
- SAP AI Core

- Develop and maintain side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA.

Integration Development

- Integrate SAP S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premises systems.
- Consume and expose APIs through SAP Integration Suite.
- Build event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh.
- Integrate third-party applications and cloud services.
- Design secure interfaces and API frameworks.

Database Development

- Design database models using CDS.
- Develop HANA Cloud artifacts.
- Create views, procedures, and data services.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization.
- Implement data persistence strategies.

SAP Build & Workflow Integration

- Integrate CAPM applications with SAP Build Process Automation.
- Expose business services to workflows and approval processes.
- Build automation-triggered business applications.
- Support intelligent document processing and workflow orchestration.

AI & Innovation (Preferred)

- Integrate SAP AI Core and SAP Joule services.
- Develop AI-enabled business applications.
- Build GenAI-based business assistants and copilots.
- Implement document intelligence and semantic search capabilities.
