Job Summary

Graduation, life science background preferably Biochemistry, Microbiology, BDS, Physiotherapist, Pharmacy and Nursing. Minimum of 5 -7 years of working experience. Overall Leadership Experience: 2-3 years. Should possess 2-3 years of Team Lead experience. Should have good reading comprehension, analytical and abstraction skills. EM experience is mandatory. Should be CIC/CCS/CPC certified through AAPC/AHIMA. Software/Platform Preference-Working experience in 3M and Optum Strong knowledge in anatomy and physiology. Willing to work for Rotational shifts. Willing to work in roster including weekend roster as applicable. Experience in Charge and claim entries will be an added advantage. Should possess strong domain expertise in medical coding in EM specialties. Should be well experienced and understand EM outpatient and Inpatient Profee, ICD-10 CM, query processes, denials, and documentation guidelines. Understand the client requirements and specifications of the project. Ensure that delivery to the client is adhered to the quality standards, productivity, and turnaround time. Should be able to analyze the Abstraction from clinical data from the record after documentation review to ensure that it is adequate and appropriate to support diagnoses and procedures selected. Complete assigned work functions utilizing appropriate resources by coordinating with the one down. Should report and escalate the key happenings of the project, people and process to the deputy and senior manager. Pro-active communication with the key stakeholders, support team and clients are more vital. Strong feedback on the performance of colleagues and one down should be done. Plans for improving and grooming the colleagues are expected. Should be a key coordinator during any transition projects. Have a good tracker on the updates start from hiring to ramp phase with the stake holders. Should volunteer to spearhead along with the manager to block the crack in communications that can be a showstopper for the project/people. May act as a resource with client staff for data integrity, clarification and assistance in understanding and determining appropriate and compliant coding practices. Maintain strict patient and provider confidentiality in compliance with all federal, state,



and hospital laws and guidelines for release of information. Support Savita's Compliance Program by demonstrating adherence to all relevant compliance policies and procedures as evidenced by in-service attendance and daily practice; notifying management when there is a compliance concern or incident; demonstrating knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations as evidenced by appropriate handling of patient information; promoting confidentiality and using discretion when handling patient and/or client information. Will be responsible for supervising and managing an EM team. Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Effective delegation of tasks and deliver the requisite from Deputy and Senior Manager and other superior stake holders in a timely manner / by meeting timeline. Manage quality and productivity targets as per client SLA.
