We are looking for a PLC Controls Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens and Rockwell Automation platforms to develop, troubleshoot, test, and validate industrial automation systems.

The role covers PLC/HMI programming, safety logic, industrial networking, machine sequence development, virtual commissioning, and integration with robots and peripheral equipment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and troubleshoot Siemens S7-1500 and Rockwell PLC applications.
- Program Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal / STEP 7.
- Program Rockwell PLCs using Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000.
- Develop and troubleshoot Siemens WinCC and FactoryTalk HMI applications.
- Implement machine sequences, interlocks, alarms, diagnostics, and recovery logic.
- Configure PROFINET, PROFIsafe, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, and TCP/IP communication.
- Support virtual commissioning, SIL/HIL testing, and vFAT.
- Perform code reviews, testing, fault injection, and defect closure.
- Prepare technical documentation, backups, interface registers, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements / Qualifications:





- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
- 2-8 years of relevant industrial automation experience.
- Solid experience with Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC platforms.
- Experience with TIA Portal and Studio 5000.
- Knowledge of PLC safety, machine interlocks, and industrial networking.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings, I/O lists, and machine sequences.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
