About the Role

We are looking for a financial analyst/research-focused professional to support preparation and analysis of financial statements for hedge fund and private equity clients under US GAAP / IFRS / Ireland GAAP.

This role combines financial modeling, reporting, market research, and data analytics to deliver insights that support investment decisions and regulatory compliance.

Mandatory Skills : CA/CMA/ICWA/ACCA - cleared or pursuing.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparation of financial statements and related disclosures under US GAAP/IFRS.
- Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows to identify trends and insights.
- Conduct valuation of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) using techniques like DCF, relative valuation, and option pricing models.
- Perform market research and macroeconomic analysis to support hedge fund/PE reporting and investment recommendations.
- Apply data analytics techniques using Python, SQL, Power BI, and Excel to analyze financial data and optimize reporting.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of financial reporting documentation.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to solve complex financial problems.
- Test and provide feedback on financial reporting tools and templates; recommend process enhancements.

Required Skills & Competencies





- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis aligned with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficient in corporate finance, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) and familiarity with Word.
- Solid data analytics skills: Python, SQL, Power BI.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills; professional command of English.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under deadlines.
- Team-oriented with collaborative working style.

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

- Prior internship experience in financial analysis, research, or reporting.
- Knowledge of hedge fund or private equity reporting practices.
- Exposure to portfolio optimization, investment research, or financial modeling projects.

Eligibility & Experience

- Educational Qualification: Bachelors in Commerce/Finance or equivalent; certifications like CFA Level 1 or financial analytics programs are a plus.
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with internship experience in research, financial analysis, or reporting.
