- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for children.
- Plan and provide individualized speech and language therapy based on each child's needs.
- Work on:
- Speech sound production and articulation
- Language development
- Receptive and expressive language
- Vocabulary and sentence formation
- Social communication and pragmatic skills
- Fluency
- Voice and communication skills
- Early communication and pre-language skills
- Maintain proper session notes, assessment records, therapy plans, and progress reports.
- Monitor children's progress and modify therapy goals when required.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding the child's progress and home-practice activities.
- Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, psychologists, special educators, and other professionals whenever required.
- Provide appropriate home programs and activities to support continued development outside therapy sessions.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential standards at all times.
- Participate in team discussions, case reviews, and parent meetings when required.
- Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration/certification as applicable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interest in working with children.
- Patience, empathy, and a child-friendly approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and parents.
- Good documentation and clinical record-keeping skills.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
- Previous pediatric therapy experience will be an advantage.
- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention.
- Basic understanding of developmental milestones.
