Role & responsibilities

- IND AS Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement) ensuring strict adherence to Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and regulatory guidelines.
- Month-End & Year-End Accounting Closure: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual ledger closure activities. Ensure accurate computation of accruals, provisions, depreciation, prepayments, and sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations within target timelines.
- Direct Taxation & TDS Compliance: Working knowledge of monthly Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) computations, timely deposit of withholding taxes, quarterly TDS return filings (Form 24Q/26Q), and issuance of Form 16/16A certificates.
- Indirect Taxation (GST Compliance): Manage periodic GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and annual returns. Conduct regular GSTR-2B vs. Purchase Register reconciliations to maximize Input Tax Credit (ITC) utilization and resolve vendor discrepancies.
- Statutory & Internal Audit Closure: Serve as the primary liaison for statutory,



internal, tax, and regulatory auditors. Prepare detailed audit schedules, provide supporting documentation, resolve audit queries, and ensure seamless, timely audit completion.
- NBFC / Financial Operations (Preferred): Apply specialized knowledge of NBFC accounting nuances, such as preparation of EIR working, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisioning, and RBI regulatory reporting schedules where applicable

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: CA (Chartered Accountant)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification core accounting and compliance experience.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), FinTech, or Banking sector is an added advantage.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior management and external audit partners.
