About the Role
Fabric is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can own product features end to end, from design through delivery. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building reliable backend systems, shipping thoughtful frontend experiences, and working in a fast-moving product environment.
You will work across the stack, with a strong focus on Python and Django, while also contributing to frontend development using React and Node.js. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated ownership of independently delivered modules, full product features, or startup-style generalist engineering work.

Key Responsibilities

- Own full product features from design through delivery
- Build backend services using Python, Django, and Celery
- Work on distributed systems and asynchronous processing workflows
- Develop frontend experiences using Node.js and React
- Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to ship reliable features
- Contribute to architecture, implementation, testing,



and production readiness of product modules
- Take ownership of engineering decisions and deliver features with minimal handholding

Must-Have Skills

- Robust experience with Python
- Strong experience with Django
- Ability to independently own and ship complete features or modules
- Experience working in early to mid-stage product companies
- Solid understanding of backend engineering and API development

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Celery
- Experience with asynchronous job processing or background workers
- Experience with distributed systems
- Frontend development experience with React
- Backend or full-stack experience with Node.js
- Experience in startup or product engineering environments

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a full-stack or backend-leaning product engineer who has worked in a product company, preferably at an early or mid-stage startup. They should have hands-on experience with Python and Django, be comfortable owning features end to end, and have exposure to frontend development using React or Node.js.
