Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer with over 10 years of experience in driving continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure automation, and container orchestration. In this role, you will lead the architecture, deployment, and management of cloud-native systems on OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and GCP (Google Cloud Platform), leveraging open-source tools to build scalable, highly available microservices environments.

Key Responsibilities

- CI/CD & Pipeline Management: Architect, build, and optimize scalable enterprise CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release management.
- Kubernetes & Microservices: Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Kubernetes clusters (e.g., GKE, OKE) to support containerized microservices architectures.
- Cloud Infrastructure (OCI & GCP): Provision, maintain, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) following best practices for reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Drive end-to-end infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and custom automation scripts (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Open-Source Tooling: Implement and maintain open-source solutions for service discovery, secrets management, deployment automation, and monitoring (e.g., ArgoCD, Vault, Prometheus, Grafana, Istio/Envoy).
- Observability & SRE: Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting frameworks to ensure enterprise-grade uptime, system health,



and rapid incident resolution.
- Security & Compliance: Embed DevSecOps practices across the software delivery lifecycle, including container image scanning, vulnerability patching, IAM policy management, and secrets rotation.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers, promote DevOps best practices across cross-functional engineering teams, and drive technical roadmaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 10+ years of dedicated experience in DevOps, System Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Container Orchestration: Advanced expertise with Kubernetes (administrating clusters, network policies, ingress controllers, RBAC, stateful sets, custom resource definitions) and Docker/container runtime environments.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience architecting and managing production environments in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
- CI/CD & GitOps: Deep hands-on expertise with tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, or ArgoCD/Flux for GitOps workflow implementation.
- Automation & IaC: Mastery of Terraform for declarative infrastructure management and Ansible/Chef/Puppet for configuration management.
- Microservices Ecosystem: Strong understanding of service meshes (Istio/Linkerd), API gateways, service discovery, and microservices design patterns.
- Open-Source Stack: Proven experience selecting, deploying, and supporting open-source tools across monitoring, logging (EFK/Loki), database deployments, and platform automation.
- Scripting & Code: Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell, or Go for script writing and tooling creation.
