Iqvia is hiring for the role of Software Engineer Intern!

Responsibilities of the Intern:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components using Python and contemporary development frameworks.
- Build, consume, and validate REST APIs and integrations across enterprise applications.
- Develop AI-powered solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Contribute to backend services development using FastAPI and microservices architecture.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Create reusable automation scripts to improve product quality, reliability, and performance.
- Execute test plans including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to implement business rules and validation logic.




- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and QA teams across global locations.
- Explore emerging AI technologies and apply innovative solutions to real-world business challenges.

Requirements:

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

- Software Engineering

- Computer Applications
- Related technical disciplines

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
