Job Description: Architectural Draftsman – Residential /Commercial Buildings

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in residential building architectural drawings and construction documentation.

Educational Qualification:

* Diploma in Architecture / Civil Engineering

* Relevant experience in architectural drafting and residential projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural GFC Drawings

* Prepare accurate and detailed Architectural Good for Construction (GFC) drawings for residential projects.

* Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details and construction drawings.

* Coordinate architectural drawings with Structural, MEP and other consultant drawings.

* Incorporate design changes and revisions as required.

2. Authority Approval Drawings

* Prepare architectural drawings required for statutory and authority approvals.

* Prepare area statements, FAR/FSI calculations, built-up area calculations and other approval-related documents.

* Coordinate drawings and revisions based on authority requirements.

3. Interior GFC Drawings

* Prepare detailed Interior GFC drawings for residential projects.

* Prepare furniture layouts, flooring layouts, ceiling plans, internal elevations and construction details.

* Coordinate interior drawings with architectural, structural and MEP requirements.

4. Drawing Coordination & Documentation

* Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP consultants and site teams.

* Maintain drawing revisions and drawing issue records.





* Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, detailing and constructability.

* Ensure drawings are issued within project timelines.

* Address site-related drawing queries and incorporate approved modifications.

Required Skills

* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

* Good knowledge of architectural drafting and construction documentation.

* Practical experience in residential building architectural GFC drawings.

* Experience in authority approval drawings and area calculations.

* Valuable understanding of architectural plans, sections, elevations and construction details.

* Knowledge of residential building construction and detailing.

* Good coordination and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Additional Advantage

* 3D modelling knowledge in SketchUp will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.

* Knowledge of Revit / BIM will also be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
