Brand Assistant & Operations Coordinator Early-stage startup | Full time | 1–2 yrs experience

About Root Labs

Root Labs is a hormone-safe, barrier-first skincare brand built for real skin — across ages and life stages. We're 4 months old, shipping D2C, onboarding on Amazon, and growing fast. We're a small, marketing-first team where everyone wears multiple hats and every role has real impact.

The Role

This is a generalist role at the heart of the brand. You'll work directly with the founding team across operations, communications, marketing support, and whatever else the day demands. No two days will look the same — and that's exactly the point.

What You'll Do

Own shipping, fulfilment & delivery coordination

Manage the brand's phone & WhatsApp communications

Liaise with vendors, couriers & Amazon ops

Build SOPs, track deadlines, flag gaps early

Support marketing — content, influencer & campaign tasks

Assist with Amazon onboarding & Seller Central

Research, reporting & quick turnaround tasks

Ad hoc everything — you're the person who just gets it done

Organised — you live by lists, trackers & follow-ups

A clear communicator — warm on calls, crisp on text

Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage chaos

Brand-conscious — you protect the tone in every interaction

Experience

1–2 years in ops, coordination, or a generalist startup role

Comfortable with Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business & basic e-commerce tools

Exposure to D2C, logistics, or Amazon Seller Central is a plus

Strong written English — you'll often communicate on behalf of the brand

This isn't a support role that stays a support role. Root Labs is growing fast, and early joiners grow with it. Based on your strengths — ops, marketing, or brand — there's real scope to carve out a path here. We promote from within and build around people, not job descriptions.
