Key Job Roles and Responsibilities

- Workforce Scheduling: Forecast labor needs and assign masons, carpenters, barbinders, and general laborers to active tasks.
- Sourcing and Recruitment: Partner with subcontractors, agencies, and unions to hire qualified workers for peak phases.
- Mobilization and Logistics: Organize site transport, safety passes, and daily onboarding for incoming work crews.
- Utilization Optimization: Track worker productivity across sites to reduce idle time and keep labor budgets on target.
- Progress Tracking and Reporting: Maintain daily logs of worker attendance, hours, and deployment status for project managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years in labor scheduling, site coordination, or recruitment within construction.
- Core Traits: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage rapid-moving field teams.
- Education: Diploma or degree in civil engineering or a related field is often preferred by employers.
