Role Description

As a WiFi Stack Android Developer at SEMIENG, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing WiFi-related components within Android-based systems. On a day-to-day basis, you will work on developing and integrating WiFi stack features, debugging and resolving connectivity issues, and improving performance, reliability, and security in mobile environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including system architects, firmware engineers, and QA to validate functionality, run tests, and ensure seamless integration with hardware and broader software platforms. Documentation of designs, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards and best practices will be part of your regular activities. This is a full-time, in office role located in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Android Development and Android Design, with experience building and optimizing network-related features in Android environments.

Proficiency in Mobile Application Development and working with Mobile Applications, including performance tuning, debugging, and testing on Android devices.

Solid foundation in Software Development,



including object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, Kotlin), data structures, algorithms, and version control (e.g., Git).

Hands-on experience with WiFi stack implementation, network protocols (TCP/IP, IEEE 802.11), and troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.

Familiarity with Android system architecture, HAL, AOSP, and integration with low-level networking components is highly beneficial.

Ability to analyze logs and traces, use debugging tools, and collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and QA teams.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.

Clear and effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as within diverse, cross-functional teams.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
