Job Summary

We are looking for a Sourcing Executive who will be responsible for sourcing fabrics, trims and accessories for our existing and upcoming products.

The candidate should have good knowledge of the fabric and trims market and should be able to identify new materials, upcoming trends and new suppliers that can add value to our products.

Key Responsibilities

- Source fabrics and trims as per product requirements.
- Identify new and innovative fabrics, trims, accessories, colours, textures and finishes based on market trends.
- Source fabrics such as Cotton, Cotton Lycra, Modal, Nylon Spandex, Rib, Mesh, Lace and other suitable materials.
- Source trims and accessories such as elastics, straps, hooks, sliders, labels, buttons, tapes, laces and other garment accessories.
- Develop new suppliers and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
- Visit markets, suppliers, exhibitions and trade fairs to identify new materials and suppliers.
- Collect fabric and trim samples and coordinate for development and approval.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate price, MOQ, quality and delivery timelines.
- Compare prices from different suppliers and support cost reduction.
- Coordinate with the Product Development, Design, Production and Quality teams for material requirements.




- Ensure timely availability of fabrics and trims for production.
- Maintain proper records of suppliers, samples, prices, specifications and approvals.
- Keep track of market trends and proactively suggest new materials for upcoming products.
- Develop alternate suppliers for important fabrics and trims to avoid supply issues.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of fabrics, trims and garment accessories.
- Experience in fabric and trim sourcing.
- Good supplier network and market knowledge.
- Ability to identify new trends and materials.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Good follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of fabric specifications such as composition, GSM, width, stretch and recovery.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Willingness to travel to markets, suppliers and exhibitions when required.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in apparel, garments, lingerie, nightwear, activewear, hosiery or similar categories will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who can proactively bring recent fabrics, trims and ideas from the market, rather than only sourcing materials based on existing requirements.

The candidate should be curious about new trends, new suppliers and new materials and should be able to identify opportunities that can be used for our upcoming products.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
