Procurement Officer – Construction Industry

Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹75,000 per month

We are looking for a Procurement Officer with 2–3 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase, preferably from the Construction, Infrastructure, or Real Estate industry.

The candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end procurement activities, vendor management, sourcing construction materials, price negotiation, purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials for projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities.
- Source construction materials, equipment, and project requirements.
- Identify and coordinate with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Project, Civil, Stores, and Accounts teams.
- Monitor material quality, quantity, cost, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, vendor details, POs, and other documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure procurement is completed within the required budget and timeline.
- Handle vendor follow-ups and resolve procurement-related issues.

Requirements

- 2–3 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase.
- Experience in Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate projects preferred.
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E.



in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Positive knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic procurement documentation.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in construction procurement will be preferred.
