We are inviting applications for a 2-month paid research internship under an ICMR-funded multicentric study evaluating digital interventions versus the WHO PEN approach for NCD prevention and control in urban slum settings. The enrolled interns will be a part of our v-INSPIRE Internship Program.

Job Description

- Participate in offline, field-based research activities, including community engagement, participant interaction, and data collection.
- Contribute to a multicentric, mixed-methods quasi-experimental study focused on NCD prevention and control.
- Gain hands-on exposure to public health research, digital health interventions, WHO PEN, and community-based NCD research.
- Support study-related documentation, data management, and research activities under the project team.
- Develop practical experience in field research and evidence generation within resource-limited settings.

Note: As a selected intern,



you will be given an chance to learn our v-INSPIRE Internship Program’s curricula, providing additional exposure to structured public health learning, engagement, and experiential activities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

- Students/recent graduates from Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, Health Sciences, Epidemiology, or closely related disciplines.
- Strong interest in community-based research, NCDs, public health, and digital health.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, particularly for community and participant
interaction and a strong proficiency in Hindi language.
- Willingness to undertake completely offline, field-based work in urban slum areas for the
full 2-month internship period.
